Real stories, real change
Hearing directly from the people we've supported means the most to us. Here's what some residents have said about their experience.
I moved in when I had nowhere else to go, and honestly it changed everything. The team never made me feel judged — they just got on with helping. Any time something needed fixing they were straight on it, and my room was spotless when I moved in.
Referred to Turning Point Alliance by my support worker and I'm so glad I was. Whatever I needed, someone got back to me the same day. The flat was clean, warm, and properly looked after — a world away from where I'd been staying before.
What stood out for me was how quickly they sorted things. I had an issue with the boiler and it was fixed within a day. The place is always kept in good condition, and the staff genuinely seem to care about how you're doing, not just the paperwork.
I didn't expect much support if I'm honest, but they proved me wrong. Whenever I called, someone actually answered and helped — no waiting around. The property was clean and well maintained when I moved in. It gave me the stability to sort my life out.
From the referral to moving in took less than a week. Every problem I raised got dealt with quickly, nothing was ever too much trouble. The accommodation itself was in great condition — furnished, clean, and genuinely felt like a fresh start.
Everyone I spoke to was quick to help and genuinely listened, nothing was ever too much hassle. The flat was in brilliant condition when I got the keys, and it gave me the stability to start rebuilding.
